The 2024 vintage brought a steady, balanced growing season to the Willamette Valley — warm, even days and cool nights that preserved freshness and detail. On Ribbon Ridge, the fruit showed exceptional purity and tension, a hallmark of our marine-sedimentary soils.
Dark and rich fruit leads the way — with notes of plum, raspberry, and pomegranate — accented by floral spice and a hint of forest floor. A portion of whole cluster fermentation adds lift, fine structure, and just the right amount of savory tension. The palate is graceful and precise, with lively acidity and a long, mineral finish. This is Ribbon Ridge Pinot at its most refined — vibrant, balanced, and full of quiet energy. Drink now for its freshness, or let it age 8–10 years as it gains depth and nuance.
Vintage Notes:
The 2024 season delivered near-ideal conditions: steady warmth, cool nights, and an unhurried harvest under clear skies. Pinot Noir from Ribbon Ridge showed exceptional color, balance, and purity — a vintage defined by finesse and longevity.
