The Stoop Select Bottling is dedicated to our two great loves: New Orleans—the vibrant, complicated city where we fell in love—and Ribbon Ridge, Oregon, where we farm, make wine, and raise our family. Both places nourish our souls in their own beautiful ways.
This bottling is intended to be enjoyed with friends on a patio, at kitchen counter, around a dinner table or sitting on a front stoop.
When we purchased the land in 2013 and started making a plan for our vineyard, growing and producing Gran Cru-style chardonnay was at the top of the list.
Planted on the eastern slopes of the vineyard, chardonnay thrives in the mild growing seasons and naturally elevated acid of Ribbon Ridge. The 2024 Chardonnay features grapes grown on our estate vineyard. All fruit is organically grown, farmed, and managed by our family.
2024 Vintage Notes:
A steady, moderate season defined 2024 across the Valley. Early rains gave way to a dry, even summer, and harvest arrived under calm skies with excellent fruit condition. On Ribbon Ridge, Chardonnay thrived — small clusters, bright acidity, and expressive aromatics suggest a vintage of precision and longevity.
